Lady Bam Podcast with Mary McDonnell – Episode 11 – Kate Mulgrew

A starship captain and the president of the universe walk into a bar… well, almost!  Lady Bam podcast traveled to New York City to speak to the one and only Kate Mulgrew.  Mary and Kate sat down for an amazing talk, discussing Kate’s new book “How to Forget: A Daughter’s Memoir”, their experiences growing up in Irish-American households, her recent play in New York “The Half-Life of Marie Curie”, and much more. Lady Bam Podcast is thrilled to bring you this long-awaited episode.

  1. What a pleasure to once again listen to the fantastic Lady Bam podcasts. It is not only the wonderfully interesting guests that make these my favourite podcasts. It is Mary McDonnell’s ability to draw out her guests to reveal so much of themselves. Not all podcasts achieve this and it is probably due to theladybam’s genuine interest in the people she interviews along with her willingness to reveal so much of herself in the process.
Every one of these podcasts has so much rich content that I generally listen at least twice. The recent episodes 10 and 11 are absolutely brilliant. In fact each episode since the first seems to surpass the previous which I would not have thought possible.
Please keep these up marymcdonnell10, whenever your schedule permits. I deeply appreciate your brilliant talent as well as your activism and realize that your time is precious. However, no other podcast comes close to these riveting conversations between you and your amazing guests.
